2024
Erbil International Airport (EIA) has extended the concession agreement with Mach Monument Aviation Fueling Company (MMAFCO). MMAFCO must rehabilitate the Storage Tanks, re-design and re-build all other Facilities, build additional Facilities, testing and commissioning and recertify the new fuel farm facilities, owned by EIA, and built in 2007, but was never commissioned post construction. As per the terms of the extended concession agreement, work plan for the rehabilitation and commissioning works shall be submitted to EIA and the full refurbishment of the New Fuel Farm shall be completed and commissioned in 2 years.
Karya Engineering participated as the E&I subcontractor, performing Electrical and Instrumentation engineering and procurement works.

The Khor Mor KM250 Expansion Project is a major natural gas development undertaken by Pearl Petroleum (Dana Gas & Crescent Petroleum) in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, increasing the gas processing capacity from 500 to 750 MMSCFD.
Karya Engineering participated in this project as the E&I subcontractor to Havatek Makina A.Ş., contributing to the successful and timely completion of the works.

The HKN Energy, Sarsang Block Wellsite-Based Production Facilities Project, located in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, was developed to increase crude oil production and processing capacity in the Sarsang field.
Karya Engineering took part in this project as the E&I subcontractor to Havatek A.Ş, successfully executing the Electrical and Instrumentation works and supporting the safe and timely commissioning of the facilities.

The Khabat Thermal Power Plant Project, located near Erbil, is a 2×150 MW power generation facility designed to enhance the region's power supply and grid stability.
Karya Engineering participated as the Low-Voltage and High-Voltage Electrical Subcontractor to Gama Power System, completing all electrical and instrumentation works and supporting successful commissioning.

The Tüpraş Aliağa Refinery U-7000 Revamp Project was undertaken to modernize and improve process efficiency as part of Tüpraş's capacity enhancement program.
Karya Engineering acted as E&I subcontractor, performing all installation and commissioning works in accordance with refinery safety and quality standards.

Karya Engineering participated as the E&I subcontractor, performing Electrical and Instrumentation works and supporting the safe start-up and commissioning of the facilities.

The TTOPCO Tanker Loading Station Capacity Upgrading Project was developed to provide an additional 20,000 m³ crude oil storage capacity supplied from the TTOPCO CPF.
Within the scope of this project, Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) works were carried out for two (2) 10,000 m³ crude oil storage tanks and three (3) crude oil loading bays, including all associated utility systems.
Karya Engineering participated in the project as the E&I subcontractor, undertaking the design, procurement, and installation of all electrical and instrumentation systems, and providing support for the safe start-up and commissioning of the facilities.

The Nainawa 6×125 MW Power Plant Project was executed to strengthen Iraq's electricity generation capacity through six high-efficiency gas turbine units.
Karya Engineering completed all Electrical and Instrumentation works, contributing to reliable and timely plant commissioning.
